Initially specializing in trompe l'oeil for her commissioned work, Lucce overflows into a more open, dreamlike production, linking the traditional and the contemporary.

Working with materials, nervous and aerial gestures, reserves of raw canvas, patching, Lucce cultivates the poetry of accident on canvases as on walls.

Her series are conceived as fables in which each canvas unfolds the attention on a central character.

The latter is part of an environment that depicts his inner landscape. Aiming to distract or edify, her creations carry within them a powerful emotional force.

And, in the manner of the tale, they suppose the acceptance of improbability.
